During August, various new 5G base stations were opened in Puistola, Tapanila, Tapulikaupunki, Suutarila, Maunula, Pakila and Pirkkola in Helsinki. Reception was improved earlier in the summer in Kontula and Myllypuro.

Major improvements in 5G coverage were also made in July and August in Vantaa, especially in Tikkurila and the surrounding areas as well as in Kivistö and its neighbouring areas.

The reception of the network in Espoo has been improved especially in Friisilä, Haukilahti, Matinkylä, Niittykumpu, Olari, Otaniemi and Tapiola.

“A more extensive network construction in Espoo and Vantaa has now truly started, and it’s progressing smoothly. Our 5G network will also expand to Kauniainen during this autumn,” says Jarkko Laari, Director, Radio Networks, DNA Plc.

DNA’s 5G network will exceed the population coverage of one million people in the next few weeks. Simultaneously with the construction of the 5G network, the existing 4G network is also improved.

DNA’s 5G services are currently available in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Heinola, Hyvinkää, Hämeenlinna, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Lieto, Nokia, Oulu, Pirkkala, Pori, Raahe, Raisio, Rauma, Rusko, Seinäjoki, Sipoo, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa and Ylöjärvi.

When logging into digital services, it may not occur to you what will happen to your accounts after your death. It should, as we are leaving an increasingly larger digital footprint behind us. A digital testament or digital will informs the estate administrators about which services have been used and what you wish to be done with them after your death. An expert from DNA explains why everyone should create a summary of the digital services they use.
