Fingrid’s annual report package for 2022 has been published

The annual report package consisting of six separate reports:

• Report of the Board of Directors
• Financial statements
• Corporate governance statement
• Remuneration report
• Business review
• Corporate responsibility and sustainable development

The publication is also available in English.

The company operates in accordance with good governance and complies with, for example, the Governance Code for listed companies in Finland. The aim of the annual report is to give the reader a clear picture of Fingrid’s operations and results for 2022. The business review describes the company’s strategy, our customer relationships and the operations of the different business divisions. The corporate responsibility report discusses the company’s operations from the perspectives of environmental responsibility (E), social responsibility (S) and good governance (G), as well as the company’s success in terms of its ESG targets. The corporate responsibility reporting complies with international reporting guidelines (GRI standards of the Global Reporting Initiative) and the information has been verified by an independent third party.

The corporate governance statement and the remuneration report contain administrative information on the company’s operations.

At the same time, the company’s role in the functioning of a disturbance-free power system is emphasised and the role of corporate responsibility increases even further. The number of the company’s customers and other important stakeholders is growing, and the amount of information on hand related to the power system and its operation is increasing. The aim of the annual report package is to meet the needs of stakeholders and to describe not only the past year, but also the company’s way of operating and outlook on the future,” says Fingrid’s CFO, Jukka Metsälä.
