Global technology leader in photonics, Jenoptik, selected Scanfil as a preferred manufacturing partner
Jenoptik is a German-based global technology leader in photonics and mobility solutions. They selected Scanfil as one of their manufacturing partners in prototyping, PCBAs, box-build, product design, and development.
The collaboration started with prototyping and small series together with the design and development services. Scanfil serves Jenoptik from multiple sites in Europe: Wutha in Germany, Malmö, and Åtvidaberg in Sweden, and Sieradz in Poland.
Scanfil finds its partnership together with Jenoptik extremely interesting and attractive. Jenoptik is a fast-growing global leader in photonics and it has very good growth prospects. Growth in Central Europe is one of Scanfil’s strategic growth targets and new customer acquisition is the key to success.

Scanfil plc Pressmeddelande 3 september 2025 kl. 10.00 CEST Scanfil invigde sin expansion och modernisering av Johor Bahru-anläggningen i Malaysia Scanfil invigde expansionen och moderniseringen av sin elektroniska och komplexa box-build tillverkningsanläggning i Johor Bahru, Malaysia. ”Johor Bahru är en del av SRXGlobal, som Scanfil förvärvade i oktober 2024. Expansionen och moderniseringen är ett utmärkt exempel på det positiva affärsklimatet och den underliggande kundefterfrågan för elektroniktillverkning i Malaysia”, betonar Scanfil VD Christophe Sut. Investeringen på 4,3 miljoner euro tillkännagavs den 28 januari 2025 och ökar produktionsområdet med nästan 50 % och ökar kapacitet, kvalitet och effektivitet.
