The winners were announced at the award gala on May 24, 2022, in Helsinki. Kempower’s Chief Operations Officer Sanna Otava and Chief Sales Officer Tommi Liuska were present at Alma House to receive the award.

“Thank you for this recognition on the behalf of the entire Kempower team. The electrification of transport is here and there is a strong demand for reliable and user-friendly fast-charging solutions for all types of electric vehicles. Our Kempower team has grown from a few dozen people to almost 200 hundred people in just a couple of years. In addition, our three-year annualized growth rate was over one thousand percent,” says Tommi Liuska.

“We have been successful in our recruitment and managed to get the right people who are brave team players. Because at the end, it is the people who make the growth happen. As part of our growth strategy, we are also expanding our production capacity and during this summer, we will move to new production facilities in Lahti, where we will get 10,300 m2 of additional space,” says Sanna Otava.

The companies were evaluated by the jury according to the following criteria, among others: the company or group must have been in business for at least four years and the company's turnover for the last financial year must have exceeded EUR 1.7 million. In addition, the turnover of the company in the last financial year has at least doubled compared to the financial year three years ago.
