Through live and on-demand sessions, the event brought together researchers, academicians and scientists from the global dermatology community. Scientific posters and sessions unveiled the latest in skin science research and analysis. Mary Kay was proud to share research on a gradual retinization process that significantly improves tolerance to higher concentrated pure retinol, while still delivering retinol’s key skin benefits. This gradual retinization process was developed using a series of 12-week safety and clinical studies.

“Retinol is a gold standard ingredient when it comes to skin care. Beauty products containing retinol are marketed globally but higher concentration retinol products are commonly associated with potential skin irritation, stinging sensation and peeling as skin acclimates to retinol use. Through safety and clinical studies in both the United States and China, we found that a gradual retinization process can significantly improve tolerability and still provide known skin benefits associated with retinol,” said Dr. Lucy Gildea, Chief Scientific Officer at Mary Kay Inc. “We are honored to present our findings at RADLA among the world’s foremost skin care experts at this prestigious event.”

RADLA was created in 1972 due to the increasing importance and medical social responsibility of dermatology in Latin America. During the annual conference, leading skin care experts from around the world convene to exchange scientific findings on a wide range of topics in the various fields of dermatology.

“Our participation in RADLA is a tremendous opportunity to collaborate as we continue our commitment to remain at the forefront of advancements in skin health,” said Dr. Lucy Gildea. “It’s one of a series of partnerships with the scientific and academic communities to further expand Mary Kay’s leadership in science-based product development as we continue to provide the highest quality products to our Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants and brand lovers worldwide.”

Molecular Instruments, Inc. announced today that the Unified Patent Court (UPC) of the European Union has found that Molecular Instruments’ HCR™ RNA-ISH technology does not infringe two patents owned by Advanced Cell Diagnostics, Inc. (a Bio-Techne group company). In a 2024 lawsuit filed in the UPC (proceedings no.
