STEMCELL Technologies Receives ISO 14001 Certification of Environmental Management System

STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company, announced today that it has received ISO 14001:2015 certification of its Environmental Management System at its Canadian operations in Vancouver, BC.
STEMCELL’s now-certified Environmental Management System will enable the company to monitor, measure, analyze, and evaluate its environmental performance.

The ISO 14001 certification—which applies to STEMCELL’s manufacturing, shipping, research and development, and head office facilities—is voluntary and confirms STEMCELL’s shared commitment to environmental stewardship through improving processes and procedures to reduce waste and lower carbon output.
The evaluation and audit of STEMCELL’s Environmental Management System was independently conducted by DEKRA, an internationally recognized authority that assesses environmental management systems for ISO 14001 certification.
