DNA on the shortlist for an international innovation award

DNA has won a place on the shortlist for the international IBC Awards. IBC is the premier annual event for television and broadcasting professionals worldwide, and the IBC Awards recognise those who have made a real contribution to the industry. Previous winners have included FIFA, Sony and SKY 3D Channel. The winner will be selected by an international panel of judges at the show to be held in September in Amsterdam.

DNA was put on the shortlist thanks to its unique TV aerial technology: DNA is building a HDTV aerial network on the existing masts of a mobile communication network. The modulators for the aerial network are supplied by TeamCast - which also applied for the IBC Innovation Awards - while Oy LM Ericsson Ab is responsible for the technical supply of the high definition network and the transmitters used in DNA's network are produced by Plisch GmbH.
