British drama and crime without any additional fee to DNA TV subscribers for three months - Cirkus

The Cirkus on-demand programme library offers a wide variety of British drama and crime series – including numerous world-famous BBC productions. The programme library also contains some TV films. All programmes have Finnish subtitling. Several new series will be added to the programme library on a monthly basis. The contents normally remain in the library for six to twelve months.
”Finns love high-quality British TV series and outstanding British actors, and British series are continuously among the most watched TV series in our country. Thanks to the new Cirkus programme library, DNA TV subscribers will have access to a multiple amount of high-quality British TV content”, says Mikko Saarentaus, Director at DNA’s Entertainment Business.
Many compelling series available in the Cirkus programme library are already well-known from Yle (the Finnish Broadcasting Company) TV channels. Part of the series are available one season at a time, but for several favourite series you can watch all seasons and episodes at one go, if you wish. Now the real fans can watch their favourite series again - either by episode or all episodes in one go - without the need to wait until next week for the next episode. In addition to the well-known series, the Cirkus programme library offers several series and contents previously unseen in Finland but starring actors that are well-known to us.
”We are delighted to have reached agreement with DNA to make available great British drama and crime programming on-demand, whenever, wherever. We’re sure DNA TV subscribers will enjoy watching complete seasons of the best of British drama & crime and indulging their appetite for Great British actors and performances”, says Mark Bradford, Cirkus Co-Founder and Director.
Available on any screen
The Cirkus programme library is available to DNA TV subscribers on various devices – both at home and on the go. You can watch the programmes on a TV screen with a DNA set-top box, with your smartphone or tablet with DNA TV apps or on your computer at tv.dna.fi.
”A key part of our entertainment service is to support mobility. Our own analyses show that more than four out of five mobile phones in use are smartphones, and an increasing number of customers watch TV content with their smartphone”, says Mikko Saarentaus.
Today’s TV viewers want to watch TV programmes according to their own schedule. A programme library serves their needs in a flexible and versatile manner. In a survey carried out by DNA in April, more than half (52%) of the respondents said that it is important for them to be able to watch TV content when it best suits them. Among younger viewers, aged 25 - 35 years, the figure was as high as 63 per cent. According to the survey, the use of smartphones for entertainment viewing has increased more than any other form of digital entertainment.
Three months without any additional fee for DNA TV subscribers
DNA offers the Cirkus programme library to current DNA TV subscribers without any additional fee for three months, from 1 November until 31 January. Also new DNA TV subscribers will get the Cirkus programme library without a separate fee until the end of January. The value of this benefit is EUR 5.95/month.
Cirkus is made available to all DNA TV subscribers. An active DNA TV subscription is needed to view content available in the Cirkus programme library.
