Hanken School of Economics rose to twelfth place in this year's prestigious international comparison ShanghaiRanking.

The Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects compares research performance, such as research output, research influence and quality, international collaboration and international academic awards.
This year, a total of 55 categories were included in the comparison of 1,900 universities. Hanken was ranked twelfth in the category of business administration; last year the ranking was 51-75.
“We can obviously be pleased with the latest international rankings. The results reflect the excellent work carried out by our researchers. High quality in research also translates into further improved education for the students at Hanken”, says Rector Ingmar Björkman.
