The board of Amos Rex has searched for a new Museum Director for Amos Rex through an international recruitment process. The new Museum director has been chosen and the decision will be announced Friday November 17th.

Amos Rex is an art museum where the past, present and future meet. Located within the functionalist landmark of Lasipalatsi, the newly built domed exhibition spaces lie under the distinctively undulating Lasipalatsi square. Organised in collaboration with Amos Rex and curated by artist and art critic Timo Valjakka, the exhibition Flowers Everywhere marks a significant opportunity to experience Birger Carlstedt’s vibrant contribution to Nordic modernism in an international context. Utställningen för till Helsingfors ett urval av hans mest kända verk, bland annat en ny version av installationen Bâtiment (Byggnad) (2004/2025), inspirerad av Helsingfors arkitektur.
