The board of Amos Rex has searched for a new Museum Director for Amos Rex through an international recruitment process. The new Museum director has been chosen and the decision will be announced Friday November 17th.
Welcome to the press event on Friday November 17th at 10–11 am (EET/UTC+2) at the Bio Rex cinema, Mannerheimintie 22-24. The speeches will begin at 10.15 am. The event is in Swedish and in English.

Amos Rex is an art museum where the past, present and future meet. Located within the functionalist landmark of Lasipalatsi, the newly built domed exhibition spaces lie under the distinctively undulating Lasipalatsi square. Amos Rex presents site-sensitive, experiential, and often technologically experimental exhibitions by contemporary artists and their Modernist predecessors. This summer at Amos Rex, visitors can dance to music from their own phones as Dansbana! transforms Lasipalatsi Square into an open-air dance floor. From late May onwards, the Amos Rex museum shop will feature SS26 SPACE by Minttu Vesala, with a curated selection of clothing, accessories and objects by Finnish designers. Later in the season, artist EGS takes over Helsinki with a project that turns the city into an alternative exhibition space.
