Media invitation: Experience Slush at Hanken School of Economics
We would like to warmly invite you to experience Slush at Hanken School of Economics by attending the official Slush side event Unicorn Night and the ENGAGE.EU EuroPitch on November 29, Day 0 of Slush.
ENGAGE.EU EuroPitch (29 November at 14:00-16:00) is a journey through the diverse landscape of European entrepreneurship. In collaboration with the European university alliance ENGAGE.EU, we're set to welcome 12 European companies to present their European growth expansion vision in Helsinki and pitch on stage in front of our panel of advisors. The ENGAGE.EU EuroPitch is a pioneering effort of joint societal outreach activities of the ENGAGE.EU network and a step towards strengthening the processes of scaling innovations in Europe.

Unicorn Night (29 November at 19:00-00:00), an official Slush side event, is a remarkable convergence of unicorn founders and key ecosystem builders including startups, investors, entrepreneurs, researchers, Hanken strategic networks (e.g. ENGAGE.EU), and students from the Nordics and the rest of the world. The night's primary focus is to drive discussions on nurturing the startup ecosystem and fostering the emergence and expansion of unicorn companies. The event consists of two parts: the main event (19.30-21:00) and an afterparty (21:00-00:00). The speakers include Milena Stoycheva (Minister for Innovation and Growth, Bulgaria), Peter Vesterbacka (co-founder of Slush, Angry Birds), Sampo Hietanen (Whim, unicorn company), Monika Liikamaa (Enfuce, unicorn company), Mikkel Hippe (Tradeshift, unicorn company), and Ingmar Björkman (Rector of Hanken School of Economics).
