Gofore strengthens its growth in German-speaking Europe – Dr. Marc Fuchs appointed as CEO of the DACH area

Marc Fuchs (51) is responsible for the company's business and growth in German-speaking Europe. Gofore has 150 employees and offices in 8 locations in the DACH area.

Fuchs has a long and extensive experience in the IT industry in leading German IT and technology companies. He has worked as a Sales, Business and Customer Director and as a consultant, particularly in the digital transformation of the automotive and manufacturing industry.

Prior to joining Gofore, Fuchs was Member of the Executive Management Team of Randstad Digital Germany AG, working as Head of Industries Automotive and Manufacturing. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of NTT Data Deutschland GmbH, being responsible of BMW account of the IT service provider. Fuchs has also worked at Capgemini as Head of Automotive Sales and Aftersales, leading the business in Germany, USA and China.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Natural Sciences at the Technical University of Munich.

Gofore’s Digital Society customers in the DACH area include e.g. the German state railway company Deutsche Bahn, Bavarian Agency for Digital Affairs (Bayerische Agentur für Digitales, byte), Spar as well as a major German federal authority. Intelligent Industry customers include e.g. BMW, Skidata, Voith, AGCO and Bosch Rexroth.
