DNA’s new annual report encapsulates the year 2023

In terms of mobile network subscriptions, DNA rose to second place in Finland. Furthermore, its market leadership in fixed broadband was further strengthened. DNA also received the prestigious Finnish Quality Award, recognizing operational excellence and sustainable competitiveness. The company made a significant investment in green domestic energy by signing a 10-year procurement agreement for Finnish wind power. All purchased electricity is already renewable, with over 80% coming from the Finnish Exilion Tuuli wind farm. The Palokangas wind farm in Ii will be completed by the end of 2024, with electricity supply starting in 2025.

Collaborating with the organization Protect Children, DNA introduced the Puhelinparkki (phone parking), available to everyone free of charge. Its goal is to support families in responsible phone usage, including taking breaks from phone use. The popularity of phone parking grew throughout the year, and it continues to gain traction, not only among families but also in schools and sports clubs.

Internet security is a crucial topic for DNA, and the company actively campaigns for it. In 2023, DNA prevented over 10 million fraudulent calls on its network. and with this fact we wanted to hightlight the extent of the phone scam phenomen and raise awareness about the risks of phishing messages and scams.
