Digital Workforce Services, Plc. Partners with a US Healthcare system to Revolutionize Order Processing with Hyperautomation
December 9, 2024, at 8.00 AM EET – Digital Workforce Services Plc., a leading provider of process automation services, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with a US Healthcare system to enhance order processing efficiency through advanced hyperautomation technologies.
Under the terms of the agreement, Digital Workforce will implement a comprehensive multi-technology hyperautomation solution designed to streamline client’s order transcription processes. This initiative aims to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual errors, and enhance overall productivity.
The solution involves automating the transcription of incoming faxes into a digital system and extracting key information to create orders. The turnkey service includes Automation Development and Testing, Scalable Multi-technology Outsmart Automation Environment, Human-in-the-Loop Services, Run Management, and Support Services.
The multi-technologies delivered from the Outsmart hyperautomation cloud platform include various technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Document Processing, Business Process Management, and Human-in-the-loop.
The partnership aims to create a technologically advanced, efficient order-processing system that leverages intelligent automation to improve accuracy and reduce processing time. The initial impact of automation will be evaluated during a pilot phase, with plans to scale the automation to other templates and workflows in subsequent phases.

The Wellbeing Services County of Central Uusimaa procured a centralized client and patient information system in 2020 to replace the various legacy systems previously used across its organization. However, the introduction of the new system did not lead to the immediate retirement of the old ones — legacy systems had to remain operational until all data stored in them had been successfully transferred to the national Kanta services or the county’s own archives. Maintaining multiple systems in parallel resulted in significant costs and additional administrative burden for the county. To retire the legacy systems as quickly as possible, the Wellbeing Services County launched an archiving project in spring 2024, supported by an automation-driven solution. 2M-IT:n asiakkaat, Pohjanmaan ja Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialueet, ovat hankkineet Digital Workforcen ja Atostekin tuottaman palvelun Lifecare, Webstar ja Mediatri -järjestelmien arkistoimiseksi Kelan Kantaan. Hankkeen tavoitteena on, että järjestelmiin tallennetut tiedot arkistoidaan mahdollisimman nopeasti, jotta hyvinvointialueet pääsevät eroon poistuvien järjestelmien kustannuksista. Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialueen hankkeessa tietoja poimitaan poistuvan Lifecare-järjestelmän viidestä tietokannasta ja Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialueella Lifecare, Webstar ja Mediatri -järjestelmien 16 tietokannasta. Tiedot muunnetaan tarvittavaan muotoon ja siirretään sekä Kelan Kanta-arkistoon että hyvinvointialueiden omiin sähköisiin arkistoihin.
