More than 2,600 visitors (+28%) attended Cyber Security Nordic 2025 at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 4–5 November to hear insights from international speakers and explore solutions from leading industry players. The sold-out event hosted a record number of 75 exhibitors. Next year, the event will expand to larger exhibition halls 1–2.

This year’s programme addressed key themes including European initiatives for secure digitalisation, strategies for protecting critical infrastructure, the fight against cybercrime, the intersection of democracy and cyber politics, and the growing impact of AI on information security.

“We were looking for a Nordic cybersecurity event and decided to join Cyber Security Nordic for the first time – we’re extremely pleased with our choice. We were positively surprised to see not only a strong corporate presence but also a large number of visitors from the public sector and defence industry,” says Jason Blais, VP of Product & Programme Management at Mattermost.

With keynote presentations from leading international experts, interactive panel discussion, and forums dedicated to education and talent development, Cyber Security Nordic 2025 made significant strides towards growth and strengthened its position as a unique Nordic-level event.

“Cybersecurity is taken very seriously today, and the industry is growing rapidly. We succeeded particularly well with this year’s programme and clearly managed to broaden our visitor base among corporate and public-sector decision-makers as well as cybersecurity professionals,” says Anssi Rajala from Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

SelfHack wins Pitch Finland Cybersecurity 2025 competition

The winner of the Pitch Finland Cybersecurity 2025 competition was SelfHack, which received a €10,000 award donated by the Finnish Fair Foundation. The final took place on 5 November 2025 at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre as part of Cyber Security Nordic program.

Participating for the second time, SelfHack has made remarkable progress over the past year. The company has identified a clear market segment, built a convincing go-to-market strategy, and already secured paying customers. Its strategy is geared towards international growth from the outset.

Cyber Security Nordic was organised on 4–5 November at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre in cooperation with the Finnish Information Security Cluster (FISC ry). The next Cyber Security Nordic will take place on 28–29 October 2026.

Strategic partners of the event included Accenture, Cyberday, Elisa, Fitsec, Fortinet, HP Finland, Moonsoft, Mattermost, Reversec, Trend Micro, Vectra, and WithSecure.
