ChemBio Finland to showcase groundbreaking solutions in chemistry and biotechnology this April

In addition to ChemBio Finland’s comprehensive exhibition, the event features a high-quality seminar programme – Chemistry Days and FinBio – offering opportunities to update professional expertise and gain fresh insights. The sessions held partly in English, will address topical themes such as artificial intelligence, skills development, the history of biotechnology, synthetic biology, circular economy, renewable energy, preparedness, health security, and medical research.

The seminar programme is designed for professionals and decision-makers from industry, healthcare, universities, research institutes, and laboratories in the food and environmental sectors. Students in these fields also play an important role.

ChemBio Finland is organised in cooperation with the Finnish Chemical Society, Finnish Bioindustries, and the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland.

Keynote speakers include Nobel Laureate

The FinBio programme will feature a presentation by Morten Meldal, recipient of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the development of click chemistry.

Nordic region’s leading chemistry and biotechnology event, ChemBio Finland 2026. ChemBio Finland will take place alongside Helsinki Chemicals Forum, Pulp & Beyond, and Sähkö–Electricity, forming a unique cross-industry platform for chemistry, biotechnology, forest bioeconomy, and electrical engineering. This convergence brings together global experts, decision-makers, and innovators, making Helsinki the hub for groundbreaking ideas and collaboration in April 2026.
