Kempower enters agreement with Ampol, a leading supplier of transport energy in Australia and New Zealand, to expand high-power EV charging across the region

(Melbourne, Australia, 22 December 2025 at 10:00am) – Kempower has signed a new contract with Ampol, a leading supplier of transport energy in Australia and New Zealand, to supply DC fast charging solutions for Ampol’s EV charging network. The collaboration strengthens access to reliable high-power charging for Ampol customers.

The first AmpCharge public charging site with Kempower hardware has opened at Stockland Merrylands in Sydney, featuring six charging points capable of delivering up to 200 kW each. The installation represents the beginning of a wider rollout across key forecourt and retail locations.

Ampol continues to roll out its EV charging infrastructure following the launch of its AmpCharge network in 2022.

Ampol has expanded its public and private EV charging network (including workplace and fleet charging solutions) to support customers through their electrification transition. As the AmpCharge network continues to scale, technology and reliability remain critical enablers for customer adoption.
