Kempower's enhanced ChargEye analytics dashboard gives EV charging operators a high-level overview of their entire EV charging network to support data-driven decision making

The global DC fast charging specialist, Kempower, has launched an enhanced analytics feature in its cloud-based charging management system, ChargEye. Analytics View, now available in ChargEye at all subscription levels, gives EV charging operators a single, high-level overview of their entire charging network on one interface for the first time.

The new dashboard centralizes vital operational KPIs for a quick overview of overall charging network performance, usage patterns, uptime and charger reliability, without needing to view individual stations.

The dashboard provides customers with network-wide visibility on their total assets (locations, EV charging stations, charge points and installed power), daily sessions, power delivered, power and plug utilization, charger performance, connectivity and charging session success rates.

Graphs showing analytics over time offer insight into when chargers are typically in use versus idle, and a more detailed station-specific view allows users to zoom in on individual chargers that may need attention.

The detailed breakdown is intended to support ChargEye users in making data-driven decisions and identify underutilized chargers, reliability issues, and opportunities to optimize network performance.

Antti Vuola, Kempower’s Vice President, Product, said: “As EV charging networks scale, operators need a clearer view of how their assets are performing across locations, and ChargEye provides data from every charge. The Analytics View in ChargEye allows users to gather crucial top-level insights more quickly and easily than ever before, meaning they can make robust, data-driven decisions and spend more time focusing on running their chargers effectively.”

ChargEye is an OCPP-compatible EV charging management system supporting OCPI and REST API integration, OpenADR and VDV463/VDV261 for fleet depot scheduling and preconditioning. ChargEye operates with availability exceeding 99.7 percent. ChargEye and its development process are ISO27001 certified, the platform is GDPR compliant, and ChargEye is designed and developed in Finland with data stored in the EU.
