“We are proud of the amazing brands we currently partner with across the financial sector,” said Mike Chuter, CEO, PSB, to whom Ochs reports. “With Susan’s combination of private and public finance expertise we’ll be able to deliver even more meaningful insights to our current and future partners. We are delighted to welcome Susan and are excited about the deep experience she brings.”

Ochs has more than two decades of experience across the financial sector – as both a practitioner and policymaker. Most recently, she was Founder and CEO of The Better Banking Project, which works with practitioners, regulators and other stakeholders to promote and measure industry best practices. Prior financial positions include senior roles in government at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as investment roles at J.P. Morgan Investment Management and private equity firm Solera Capital.

Ochs has deep experience in corporate strategy, having served previously within WPP as Acting Director of Management for BrandAsset Consulting, a Young & Rubicam Brands company. In that role and in subsequent consulting engagements, she has advised clients – from Fortune 50 companies to startups – on market strategy, branding and messaging.

“In a world overflowing with data, what corporate decision-makers need most is actionable strategic insight from that data,” said Ochs. “PSB has long been an industry leader in that effort, helping clients engage meaningfully with their stakeholders to strengthen their businesses. I look forward to working with the PSB team and its first-rate roster of clients around the world.”

Ochs is a frequent speaker and commentator, appearing regularly on CNBC, MSNBC and Fox Business, and has been published in The New York Times and Harvard Business Review, among others. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in economics from Duke University.
