Kempower ja Aimo ovat aloittaneet yhteistyön SkiStar-yhtiön kanssa neljän uuden Kempower-pikalataussatelliitin asentamiseksi suosittuun Lindvallenin hiihtokeskukseen Sälenissä. Säleniin matkustetaan useimmiten autolla, joten SkiStar on sitoutunut helpottamaan sähköautolla saapuvien vieraiden matkantekoa ja vähentämään päästöjä. Uutta sähköautojen pikalatausasemaa on tarkoitus myöhemmin päivittää bussilaturilla uuden sähköisen paikallisbussin käyttöön.

As cars are by far the most common means of transport to Sälen, SkiStar is committed to making things easier for guests with electric cars while also helping to reduce emissions. There are plans to later supplement the new charging facility with a bus charger to power a new local electric bus that will operate around the Sälen area.

Sähköautojen DC-pikalatausratkaisujen valmistaja Kempower on johtanut megawattilatausjärjestelmän (MCS) kehitystä yhteistyössä kuorma-autonvalmistajien, logistiikka-alan ja latauspisteoperaattoreiden kanssa. MCS on uusinta teknologiaa, joka mahdollistaa sähköajoneuvon lataamisen yli 1 MW:n latausteholla. Useiden onnistuneiden MCS-pilottiprojektien ja asennusten jälkeen Kempower kutsui tammikuussa sidosryhmiään eri maista seuraamaan megawattilatausta jo toiminnassa olevalle rekkojen MCS-latausasemalle Ruotsissa. Kempower on toimittanut kolme uutta latausasemaa Amsterdamin Schipholin lentokentälle sähköisten lentokenttäbussien ja maahuolintakaluston käyttöön osana lentokentän sähköistämisstrategiaa. Latausratkaisuun kuuluu 28 dynaamiseen tehonjakoon perustuvaa pikalatauspistettä, jotka varmistavat Euroopan vilkkaimpiin lukeutuvalle lentokentälle erinomaisen latauksen käytettävyyden ja yhteensopivuuden. Schipholin investointi tukee sen tavoitetta olla vuoteen 2050 mennessä täysin kiertotalouteen perustuva ja energiaomavarainen lentoasema sekä parantaa ilmanlaatua ja vähentää päästöjä matkustajien ja henkilöstön hyväksi.

One of Austria’s largest charging hubs for electric buses has been built with Kempower’s distributed charging systems in Wolfurt, Vorarlberg. The project is being implemented by the subsidiary vlotte vkw in close cooperation with the Vorarlberg Transport Association (VVV) – equipped with state-of-the art Kempower technology. The transport association has commissioned Österreichische Postbus AG to operate the route, which will run a growing fleet of e-buses in the region in the future.
