DNA bringing payment card to smart phones

DNA is bringing services to people in Finland that allow mobile payment by smart phone and on the internet. 3V has developed this application for DNA in cooperation with Visa. The application has features that are new and unprecedented, and it functions on the Windows, iOS and Android platforms.

“We want to bring the most attractive services to the Finnish public, and we’re now expanding our operations to cover services that can be paid for not only via the Internet but also by smart phone. We believe there will be demand for the new virtual Visa, since online buying, for example, is quite safe and easy to manage with it,” says Pekka Väisänen, Vice President for DNA’s Consumer Business.

DNA Täpäkkä – a virtual Visa payment card – will be available on order as of early autumn 2013 from DNA’s online shop and app stores.
