DNA launches new 4G subscriptions

Share

DNA Nopea 4G comes with unlimited domestic data and 10 GB of EU data included in the monthly fee

The new DNA Nopea 4G subscriptions include the consumers’ favourite features: unlimited  Internet access in DNA’s mobile network and a sizable EU data package included in the monthly fee.

DNA’s three new subscriptions are DNA Nopea 4G Rajaton, DNA Nopea 4G Paketti and DNA Nopea 4G Jämpti. They are the best choice for customers who like to use their phones a lot both in Finland and in another EU country.

All new subscriptions come with unlimited domestic data and a high-speed 4G-capable Internet access of up to 100 Mbit/s, and an EU data package of 10 GB a month. The charging model for calls and messages can be selected: DNA Nopea 4G Rajaton includes unlimited calls and messages; DNA Nopea 4G Paketti contains 200 call minutes and 200 text messages; and in DNA Nopea 4G Jämpti calls and messages are charged pay-as-you-go, 7 cents per minute/message.

“Unlimited data is important to our customers, so it is included in the new subscriptions. The EU data package of the new plans is large enough to cover nearly all our customers’ use in the EU area,” says Cedric Kamtsan, who is in charge of the Handset Business at DNA.

The new subscription types will have no effect on the existing subscriptions. The domestic pricing will remain unchanged in those subscriptions, but the EU roaming pricing will change such that the calls made and messages sent in another EU country will be subject to the domestic price and the price for EU data transfer will drop by over 90 per cent.

The new subscriptions are designed for consumer customers, and they are available through DNA’s all consumer sales channels

DNA:n käyttämä 5G-verkko yltää nyt Etelä-Karjalassa liki joka kolkkaan11.4.2024 09:55:00 EEST | Tiedote

DNA:n käyttämän 5G-verkon rakennustyöt Etelä-Karjalassa ovat saavuttaneet pisteen, jossa 5G-verkon peitto yltää maakunnassa liki kaikkialle ja asukkaiden tavoittavuus lähestyy 100 prosentin tasoa heidän asuinpaikkojensa perusteella. Koko maan tasolla kuuluvuudessa on kuitenkin yhä alueellista vaihtelua, minkä vuoksi verkkoa parannetaan jatkuvasti. Tavoite on erityisesti maantieteellisen peiton vahvistaminen ja kasvattaminen. Laskennallisesti 5G-verkko tavoittaa noin 96 prosenttia suomalaisista koko maassa, yhteensä yli 250 paikkakunnalla. 5G-rakentamisen myötä paranevat myös 4G-yhteydet.

DNA’s 5G network now reaches almost every corner of South Karelia11.4.2024 09:55:00 EEST | Press release

DNA’s 5G network in South Karelia now reaches nearly all parts of the region, and coverage of the population is approaching 100% based on residents’ location. At the national level, however, there are still regional variations in coverage, which is why the network is constantly being improved. In particular, DNA’s goal is to reinforce and increase geographic coverage. The 5G network has a theoretical coverage of around 96% of Finland’s population in more than 250 localities. The construction of 5G infrastructure also improves 4G connections.
