DNA’s Digital Academy for Entrepreneurs expands the course offerings with two new modules about growth
DNA launched the original Digital Academy for Entrepreneurs a year ago. The course modules were developed in cooperation with the Finnish Institute for Enterprise Management and aimed at small enterprises. The free online academy is open for everyone, and the first four modules covered information security, social media marketing, cloud tools, and business-critical devices.
”We launched the Digital Academy for Entrepreneurs, because we wanted to lower the threshold of utilizing new technologies and give small enterprises more time to concentrate on running their main business. Now we are turning our sights to growing the business successfully and profitably by introducing new course modules that tackle growth in small businesses,” says Elina Mansner, VP, Marketing at DNA.
The Financing module covers e.g. the basics of financing, methods of financing available to small enterprises, public financing and guarantees, and raising capital from investors. The lecturers in this practical module are Nordea’s Head of Startups & Growth, Vesa Riihimäki and the Managing Director of Finnish Business Angels Network FiBAN, Amel Gaily.
The Growth Marketing module covers growth methods and the use of digital tools for growth especially from a small enterprise perspective. The emphasis is on practical advice and data utilization. The course is taught by the CEO of Growth Tribe Anssi Rantanen and Elina Mansner from DNA.
”This exceptional year has clearly demonstrated that digitizing the business and developing new avenues for growth are paramount for companies. We hope that our courses help Finnish entrepreneurs to face future challenges stronger than before,” Mansner says.
As all the other course modules in the Digital Academy for Entrepreneurs, also Growth Marketing and Financing consist of short video lectures. It is also possible to download the course contents in text format. After each module there is a quiz, and a diploma is awarded to the individuals who complete all modules successfully.
The new course modules in growth marketing and financing as well as the four previously launched modules can be found at www.yrittäjändigiakatemia.fi (for the moment, in Finnish only).

Koko maan tasolla kuuluvuudessa on kuitenkin yhä alueellista vaihtelua, minkä vuoksi verkkoa parannetaan jatkuvasti. Tavoite on erityisesti maantieteellisen peiton vahvistaminen ja kasvattaminen. Laskennallisesti 5G-verkko tavoittaa noin 96 prosenttia suomalaisista koko maassa, yhteensä yli 250 paikkakunnalla. 5G-rakentamisen myötä paranevat myös 4G-yhteydet.
DNA’s 5G network now reaches almost every corner of South Karelia11.4.2024 09:55:00 EEST | Press release
DNA’s 5G network in South Karelia now reaches nearly all parts of the region, and coverage of the population is approaching 100% based on residents’ location. At the national level, however, there are still regional variations in coverage, which is why the network is constantly being improved. In particular, DNA’s goal is to reinforce and increase geographic coverage. The 5G network has a theoretical coverage of around 96% of Finland’s population in more than 250 localities. The construction of 5G infrastructure also improves 4G connections.
